Tilt effect – emphasizing a small area in focus and blurring the surrounding area to make objects and people look miniature – can be done using previous versions of Photoshop, but CS6 is even easier with a Blur Library that includes Tilt -Shift, Iris, and Field Blur tools. New paragraph and character styles make style formatting a lot simpler. Photoshop mobile CS6 is starting to get some of InDesign’s versatile styling. Dealing with large blocks of text from Photoshop is an annoyance, or at least it is. Photoshop fills in the space created by shifting the item and does this pretty well. In CS6, we’ve got a variation on that theme: Content-Aware Proceed, which lets you select an item in a single-layer image and move it somewhere else in the image. Have you ever wanted to remove someone from a photo? That’s exactly what the Content Aware Load tool, introduced in Photoshop CS5, can do. The settings panel has been reworked, making it easier to control options like Highlights and Shadows. Photoshop CS6 adds support for Adobe Camera Raw 7.0, a plug-in for editing raw image documents.
